Davon’s experience ranges through all phases of architectural and production design including Schematic Design, Design development, Construction Drawings, and Construction Administration. He is well versed in design approaches and client coordination for numerous programs including healthcare, education, mixed commercial as well as residential.

Prior to his career at Perkins+Will, Davon was, and continues to be, heavily involved in the art world. In 2014, he started his own series of Art Shows, entitled L.O.V.E.(Lessons on Visual Experiences).  His mission was to re-surge the Los Angeles art world to the "new generation" by creating vibrant shows filled with thought provoking compositions and amazing energy, while providing a platform for aspiring artist. Davon not only collected and showcased amazing art, he also created gallery spaces that enhanced the viewers experience. In 2015, he helped to design and build an art installation that was showcased at the Coachella Music and Art Festival. 

Recently, Davon acted as the creative director and production coordinator for Museum of Trap Muzik, in Atlanta Georgia, where he worked hand and hand with rapper, actor and 3 time Grammy winner, TI. He was also was contacted by Angus Donohoo, associate editor of Flaunt magazine, to be featured in a special art/architectural issue. He acted as a liaison between Perkins+Will and Flaunt Magazine; creating a cohesive design that was featured in the issue. Johnson strives to improve and influence the culture by aligning these initiatives of change, bringing a contemporary and diverse mindset to world of design.
